APPLICATION:
YG501D Water Vapor Transmission Tester is suitable for determining the water vapor transmission
of fabric, apparel, etc., under specified conditions. Fabric specimen is sealed to the open mouth of a test
cup containing desiccant or distilled water. Then the test cup assembly is placed in a test chamber with a controlled temperature and relative humidity. Weigh the test cup assembly periodically. The water vapor transmission rate can be calculated according to the change of the test cup mass (including the specimen
and the desiccant or water) in a certain time.
