ASTM D3833 Digital Yarn Crimp Tester FY111 is used to measure the stretched length,
yarn crimp or take-up of yarns detached from fabrics, under specified tension conditions
Detach the yarn from a piece of given-length fabric; straighten it by a tension
and measuring its length. To calculate the crimp in yarn affected by knitting or weaving, to determine actual yarn usage.
