APPLICATION:
ASTM D5321 ASTM D6706 ISO 12957 Direct Shear Apparatus Test Machine DW1280
is used to determine the shear resistance and the pullout resistance of a geosynthetic against soil,
a geosynthetic against another geosynthetic, or a Geosynthetic clay liner against an adjacent material,
by the directly shear test and by the pullout test separately.
The test results obtained are used in the design of structures that employ geosynthetics,
also used for quality control during construction of these structures. It is suitable for geotextiles,
geomembranes, geonets and geogrids, etc

FEATURES OF Direct Shear Test Apparatus :
1For direct shear test, adopt detachable drive unit, which can be moved from one shear box to another,
allowing the testing of one sample while another sample is being prepared in a separate box.
2.For pullout test, the box is removable of a constant rate controlled by the servo motor;
it is as same as moving box in direct shear test.
3.The machine consists of servo motor, load cell, control panel, transducer, readouts for the sensors, etc.
4. The drive system is mounted on a wheeled frame to allow for easy separation from the sample box.
5. The box has low friction linear bearings when moving.
6. Digital readout for each test and can be connected to PC for data analysis.
