APPLICATION:
AATCC 35 Rain Tester For Textile Fabric YG800 is used to measure the resistance of fabrics to the penetration of water by impact. It can simulate rain horizontally spraying to a test specimen, which is vertically clamped in a stainless steel sink. The specimen is backed by a standard blotting paper, weighted before and after each test.
With the instrument, tests can be made at different intensities of water impact.
A water column of certain height is sprayed through a standard nozzle to form rain.
The water column height can be adjusted from 600mm up to 2,400mm by 300mm increments.
